An F1 chauffeur in Singapore is a car and driver you keep for the evening, or for the whole race weekend, while the roads around the Marina Bay Street Circuit are closed. You don’t queue for a ride after the last session; you walk to a pickup point you agreed in advance and the car is there. It’s booked like any Singapore hourly chauffeur job, with one difference: race week is a peak period, so every F1 booking is quoted on its own rather than at the standard hourly rate.

Why Keep the Car Instead of Booking a Transfer

The Grand Prix runs on public roads, so roads around Marina Bay close for days and drop-offs move to set points outside the circuit. A one-way transfer gets you to the gate. The problem is the way back: the crowd leaves at the same time, and the roads around Marina Bay stay slow for a while after the chequered flag.

With the car held for the evening, the chauffeur drops you, keeps the car for you, and collects you at the point you agreed before you walked in. Most race-night trips start and end at a hotel. And because the weekend has three evenings of running, most people book 2 to 3 nights together and keep the same car throughout.

Where the Car Can and Can’t Go

Without a paddock or hospitality arrangement, the drop-off and pickup are at the designated gate near Nicoll Highway. Road closures stop private cars going any further in.

With paddock access, or a hospitality arrangement that lets vehicles in, we register the car in advance and drive you inside. Hotels within the closure zone that require vehicle registration work the same way. Send your access details when you book so the registration goes through in time.

Hospitality guests tend to book the First Class Sedan, Maybach or Rolls-Royce because the arrival matters to them as much as the ride. Sedans and MPVs cover team transport and general admission.

Typical Race-Week Bookings

  • Hotel to circuit and back, each evening
  • Hospitality guests in a First Class Sedan, Maybach or Rolls-Royce
  • Company groups in a minibus or coach to a hospitality suite
  • Airport arrivals before the weekend (available for certain vehicle types, priced for race-week demand)

If race day also includes meetings or sightseeing before the evening, you can book a chauffeur for the whole day and keep the same car into the night.

Planning Your Nights

  1. Tell us which nights you’re attending: practice, qualifying, race day, or all three.
  2. Give us your hotel, and your gate or hospitality access if you have one.
  3. Agree the pickup point with your chauffeur before you go in. Phone signal around the circuit can be patchy after the race.
  4. Allow time at the end. Most race nights finish after 23:00, and the late-night window runs from 23:00 to 06:59.
  5. Book early. Cars for race weekend go 4 to 8 weeks ahead.

Why F1 Is Quoted Separately

Road closures, fixed drop-off points and demand across the whole weekend change how every job runs, so standard hourly rates don’t apply. Send your dates, hotel and group size and we quote the whole weekend as one booking.

Booking Policies

A deposit confirms the booking. Changes to time, pickup or vehicle need 48 hours’ notice, cancellations less than 12 hours before are charged in full, and no-shows are charged in full. Every chauffeur holds a valid PDVL and every vehicle is LTA licensed. Child seats are S$20 per seat per trip.
